The Turkey Trot is our school’s biggest and most important fundraiser of the year. Our goal is to raise and invest $40,000 in our Bulldogs. The field trips, assemblies, special programs, and other enrichment opportunities that our Bulldogs will experience this year are only possible because of the money you help raise!

PTA is proud that 100% of proceeds from the Turkey Trot go directly back to Aviation. We run this fundraiser in-house so that our Bulldogs benefit from every dollar you give. Please give generously and let’s count down the days until the big race on November 17th!


During grade-level P.E. time on Friday, Nov 17th, students will feel the need for speed as they maneuver through challenging obstacles to complete their “Top Run” mission. This year’s Turkey Trot will take our Bulldogs to new altitudes and be the ultimate in aviator fun!


4th Grade: 8:55am – 9:45am
3rd Grade: 9:55am – 10:45am
5th Grade: 10:55am-11:45am


Fundraising for the Turkey Trot is similar to fundraising for a jog-a-thon or other donation-based fundraising event. Bulldogs set a goal to successfully complete all of the obstacles on race day in exchange for fixed-amount donations.

Donate to your student, request donations from family and friends, share your fundraising page on social media, and check with your employer to see if they match donations. There are lots of ways to fundraise!

All donations are tax-deductible and can be made online through the 99 Pledges platform. Fundraising will close at 11:59pm on Sunday, November 19th. Alternatively, cash or checks (made out to Peter Burnett PTA) may be dropped off at the front office.


We’re excited to offer a variety of individual, classroom, and schoolwide prizes this year!

  • ALL students will receive a participation t-shirt to wear on race day and popsicles after their race!
  • Any class with 100% fundraising participation earns an ice cream party!
  • The top fundraising class in each grade will win a pizza party!
  • Students will enjoy a lunchtime DJ dance party, if our school raises $10,000!
  • Students will get to slime the principal, if our school raises $25,000!
  • Student will enjoy a surprise school assembly, if we meet our $40,000 goal!
  • Thanks to Hawthorne Police Department, Aviation’s top fundraiser will enjoy a ride to school on the SWAT team Bear Cat!

Plus, we’re doing weekly prize drawings just for fun during Monday morning assemblies!
